Beed, June 28, 2025: A shocking case of sexual abuse has emerged from Uma Kiran Educational Complex in Beed, where two teachers—Vijay Pawar and Prashant Khatokar—have been accused of molesting a minor student over several months. The victim, a NEET aspirant, filed a police complaint detailing horrific exploitation, including threats, forced nudity, and photos taken under duress.
The victim’s complaint reveals that Khatokar, a physics teacher, allegedly harassed her since July 2024, coercing her into inappropriate acts in a cabin and threatening to kill her if she spoke up. When she confided in co-teacher Vijay Pawar, he allegedly joined in the abuse. The scandal has ignited fury among parents, with demands for stricter safeguards in coaching centers.
Police have registered a case under POCSO and other sections, but the incident has cast a dark shadow on educational trust in Beed. Authorities now face mounting pressure to inspect institutes and protect students from predators.
