Beed | July 24 ,2025: Violence in Beed district shows no signs of slowing down, with yet another shocking incident surfacing from a local school. A minor altercation between students escalated into a violent group assault, leaving two students injured and prompting a police investigation.
According to available information, a student on his way to class accidentally bumped into another Class 9 student. Although he immediately apologized, the minor incident bruised the ego of the other student. In retaliation, the accused student summoned a gang of 10 to 15 youths from his locality and launched a pre-planned attack on the boy.
The attackers used iron rods and fighter sticks to brutally assault the student. During the attack, the victim’s cousin tried to intervene and protect him but was also targeted. The gang allegedly smashed the cousin’s head with a rod, inflicting serious injuries.
Both injured students ran toward the teachers’ staff room seeking safety, but the gang followed them inside and continued the violence. The situation created panic among staff and students alike.
A case has been registered at the Beed City Police Station. Police are investigating the matter, and further action is expected soon. The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with many questioning the lack of security and control in educational institutions across the district.
