Pune | May 17,2025: Highlighting India’s global elder brother role, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat stated love is heard with power. He highlighted India’s tradition of sacrifice and Hinduism’s duty towards world welfare.

With his recent comment emphasizing India’s growing global role, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat again triggered national discussion.  Highlighting the importance of power in promoting peace, Bhagwat announced, “even love is heard when backed by strength,” during an award ceremony organized at Ravinath Ashram.

India has always been the “elder brother” in the world—providing moral authority rather than dominance direction, harmony, and leadership, according to Bhagwat. Discussing recent moves against Pakistan, he emphasized that India’s stance is grounded not in animosity but in the virtue of justice and peace.

Restoring the idea ground of his message, Bhagwat stated, “World welfare is the dharma of Hinduism.” With its timelessness principles, Hindu philosophy stresses that the whole world is one family and advocates positive engagement instead of conflict.

Reflecting on India’s cultural heritage of sacrifice, Bhagwat stated, “From Lord Ram to Bhamashah, our country has celebrated those who gave everything for the welfare of society,”

Bhagwat concluded with a poignant final note, “India holds no grudge against anyone.” He explained that the country’s focus is on fulfilling its commitment to global peace and cooperation and not on seeking vengeance.

Bhagwat’s statements attempt to position India as a country that leads not just with power but also with empathy, enduring values, and mission as the globe navigates challenging geopolitical climates.
