Reliance Industries clarified that it won’t be trademarking ‘Operation Sindoor’ and took back the application made erroneously. The company reiterated its support for the Indian Army and condemned terrorism, underlining national solidarity.

Pune| May 09, 2025: Reliance Industries has made it more than clear that it does not want rights over the trademark Operation Sindoor, following reports of an application for it. The company made this clear after there were speculations that a movie on the Operation Sindoor of the Indian Army, during which nine Pakistani tanks were blown up during the Pahalgam terror episode, was soon to be made.
Reliance Industries-owned Jio Studios pulled the trademark application. The firm clarified that a junior employee had made the application without authorization in mistake.
Reliance Industries stated immense respect and pride for the courage shown by Indian troops during Operation Sindoor, viewing it as an outstanding symbol of India’s unwavering struggle against terrorism. The operation, the group added, is the country’s determination to never bow to terrorist threats.
Reliance promised to testify further on its national commitment since it stands in solidarity with the Indian military and government in fighting to defend the country. Chairman Mukesh Ambani underlined that the fundamental principles of Reliance remain revolve on the need of placing the country first. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, the army had answered suitably and decisively.
India wants peace, he said, but not at the price of security, unity, or self-respect; hence, he was sure that group will help the country to flourish.
