While passing through a village, Gehlot suddenly halted his convoy upon noticing a group of people waving at him. What followed was a humorous exchange that has now gone viral in political circles.
One overexcited fan ran up to Gehlot and exclaimed, “Saheb, I’ve been watching you for 15 years. You always use the same car with the same number plate. These days, even junior leaders change cars every 3-4 months. But you haven’t changed yours! I’m a big fan of yours — at least now you should buy a blue or black ‘Defender’. Next time you become CM, your first job should be to get a new car!”
Gehlot, known for his simplicity and sharp wit, smiled and replied, “What’s wrong with this car? It’s comfortable.”
