Pune to Get Four New Vande Bharat Express Trains; Improved Connectivity to Shegaon, Vadodara, Hyderabad & Belagavi

Pune | 23 July, 2025: There’s good news for Punekars as Indian Railways has officially announced the launch of four new Vande Bharat Express trains from Pune. These new semi-high-speed trains will connect Pune with Shegaon, Vadodara, Secunderabad (Hyderabad), and Belagavi—dramatically improving travel time and connectivity to these major destinations.

Currently, only two Vande Bharat trains run from Pune, covering Kolhapur and Hubballi. With the addition of these four new routes, the total count will go up to six, making Pune a key Vande Bharat hub in Maharashtra.

Here’s what the new routes will look like:

These trains will be equipped with state-of-the-art features such as ergonomic seating, automatic doors, onboard Wi-Fi, bio-toilets, and modern security systems. The ticket fares for these new routes are expected to range between ₹1,500 and ₹2,000, depending on distance and class of travel.

With these additions, Pune’s connectivity to religious, commercial, and tech hubs is set to strengthen, offering passengers a faster, more comfortable travel alternative.
