Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh marks its 100 Yewith a national outreach campaign; major lecture series planned in Delhi to reflect on its journey, ideology, and future path.

New Delhi | August 7, 2025: As the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) completes 100 years since its founding in 1925, the organization is launching a countrywide initiative titled ‘100 Years of Sangh Yatra – New Horizons’. A major part of this celebration is a three-day lecture series at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi, scheduled for August 26, 27, and 28, 2025, beginning at 5:30 pm each day.

Announcing the event, RSS All India Publicity Chief Sunil Ambekar stated in a press conference that Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat will guide and address the gathering during the lecture series. The centenary falls on Vijayadashami this year, marking a hundred years since the organization began its national service mission.

Ambekar said the aim of these events is to convey the work and ideas of the Sangh to a wider section of society. This includes explaining the organization’s origins, its continuing contributions over the decades, and its vision for the future. The Delhi program will also include a written Q&A session on the final day, with pre-submitted questions from attendees.

Over a thousand lectures are planned across India, with similar programs to be held in Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Mumbai. Representatives from 17 different societal sections have been invited to participate. According to Ambekar, the Sangh is making efforts to reach all walks of life and is focused on promoting values rooted in the Sanatan tradition.

The Delhi event is positioned as a key platform to communicate the Sangh’s philosophy, social work, and strategic direction as it enters its second century.
