Rajgad | July 28, 2025: Turning a birthday into a day of social good, Suranand Foundation celebrated the birthday of its founder-president, Shri Vishwas Nandkumar Kalamkar, by distributing school supplies, bags, and raincoats to students in remote Zilla Parishad schools of Balwad, Khopdewadi, and Kondhalkarwadi in Rajgad (Velha) taluka.
These villages, often deprived of even basic educational resources, witnessed a heartwarming initiative that brought smiles to students and gratitude to parents. The foundation’s gesture was aimed at easing the educational hardships faced by children in underprivileged and infrastructurally backward areas.
The noble event was graced by Hindu Yuva Prabodhini’s founder Rajendra Bendre, entrepreneur and Kiran Shelke, entrepreneur Dadasaheb Dabhade, Kiran Adak, and Mrs. Manisha Kalamkar, who collectively supported the cause.
