Pune | May 17,2025: Famous for her YouTube travel vlog, social media influencer and travel vlogger Jyoti Malhotra has been detained on charges of spying for Pakistan. Born in Hisar, Haryana, Jyoti is quite popular on social media with more than 1.3 lakh followers on Instagram and roughly 3.8 lakh YouTube subscribers.
The case has shaken the world of influencers as reports indicate that she engaged with officials associated with the High Commission of Pakistan. Officials have trailed her involvement in suspicious activities on her recent visits to Pakistan, where she is believed to have shared personal details in the guise of pilgrimage and tourism.
Her contact from another man sent Danish to Pakistan, reports say. Her affair with a Pakistan High Commission official under fierce probe currently.This news is the sixth arrest as part of Pakistani spy rings based in Haryana and Punjab regions, particularly Malerkotla.
Jyoti had posted pictures and videos from her Pakistan trip quite voluntarily, one of which was her meeting with navankur chaudhary at the Pakistan High Commission.”Being both Haryanvi made interacting in desi way a delight,” she wrote later on posting a vlog of her visit.
She also documented visits to spiritual and historical sites in her travelog, such as the ancient Katas Raj temple, believed to have been made of Lord Shiva’s tears. She wrote of her experience at the temple complex, emphasizing its cultural and mythological significance in a video caption titled “Indian girl in the biggest Hindu temple with a 5000-year-old history.”
Jyoti initially appeared to be advocating cultural travel and tourism, but experts now speculate her travel activities may have had hidden agendas. Authorities continue to examine the network and her role within it.
