Pune | May 14, 2025: Releasing the Class 12 board exam results of 2025 officially on May 13, the Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) announcement brings an end to the long wait for thousands of students here in India and elsewhere.
This year, a record 17,04,367 students was enrolled; 16,92,494 students opted for the Class 12 exams held between February 15 and April 4. Out of these, 14,96,307 cleared, thus increasing the pass percentage overall to 88.39%. That is a nominal 0.41% increase over the 87.98% of last year.
The examinations were conducted in 7,330 centers, and CBSE maintained its record of declaring results within the estimated 4–6 week timeline after the final paper.On-time release ensures that students can now proceed with their further studies plans and admission applications without any procrastination.
The openness and consistency of the procedure of the board truly come out as the roll out of the CBSE results reveal. Even a modest rise reflects the determination and persistence of the students and teachers.
Electronic technology such as DigiLocker and Umang App simplify access, hence undoubtedly the education system is transforming to accommodate present requirements. For the students, the event is an entrance to the next stage of their life, not merely statistics.
