This week, multiple incidents were reported at the residence of actor Salman Khan in Bandra, where Mumbai police arrested two individuals, specifically a model and a 30-year-old man from Chhattisgarh, for allegedly compromising the actor’s security.
Mumbai | May 23, 2025: In the first incident, the model, aged 33, and junior actor Issha Chhabria, trespassed into the Galaxy apartment complex and allegedly knocked on the actor’s apartment door on the first floor around 3:30 AM on Wednesday morning.
The woman claimed that she had met the actor six months prior at a party and asserted that she had been invited by him. However, the family denied having invited anyone when informed by the caretaker, who had grown suspicious. By the time the police were informed and reported, the accused had already left the residence.
Isha Chhabria managed to gain access to the building by pretending to be a resident and entered with confidence. A case was registered on Wednesday, and she was subsequently arrested in Khar on Thursday morning, as stated by Sachin Rane, the inspector-in-charge of the Bandra police station.
Sections 329(1) for criminal trespass and 331 (lurking house trespass or housebreaking) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) were applied against Chhabria, who was originally from Uttar Pradesh. She was presented in court and remanded to one day of police custody.
In the second incident, which occurred on Tuesday, a fan of the actor, also from Chhattisgarh, named Jitendrakumar Hridayal Singh, was arrested for attempting to enter and trespass the building premises. Ignoring a previous warning from a constable to leave, the accused returned later that same evening and hid behind a parked car in an attempt to sneak into the premises again. Following his detention, the Bandra police invoked Section 329 for criminal trespass, and he was later released with a notice.
Previously, there have been instances where fans of the Bollywood superstar have illegally attempted to gain entry into his residence.
