Bengaluru | 09 July 2025: In a heart-wrenching and horrifying incident from Vishishapura (Nagallu) village in Nelamangala taluka near Bengaluru, a mother allegedly killed her one-and-a-half-month-old baby by drowning him in a pot of boiling water. The brutal act has sent shockwaves through the community.
The woman, identified as Radhe, lived with her husband Pawan, a man reportedly addicted to alcohol. The family was struggling financially, and Radhe was said to be mentally depressed due to the growing pressure of poverty, neglect, and lack of support.

According to police sources, the incident occurred late at night, while everyone in the house was asleep. In a fit of despair, Radhe picked up her infant son and threw him into a boiling vessel of water, instantly ending his life. The cries were either unheard or ignored during the night, and by morning, the gruesome reality had surfaced.
As soon as neighbors learned of the incident, panic and grief gripped the village. A case has been registered at the Nelamangala City Police Station, and the police have begun a thorough investigation, considering all psychological, economic, and domestic angles.
