A ZP school teacher in Beed was caught with alcohol disguised in a water bottle. Villagers filmed the incident, filed a complaint, and now await action from the education department.
Beed | July 22, 2025: A shocking incident has surfaced from Shripat Antarwala village in Gevrai taluka, Beed district, where a Zilla Parishad school teacher allegedly brought alcohol to school concealed in a water bottle. Eyewitness villagers say the teacher had even entered the classroom with the bottle, raising serious concerns about student safety and the dignity of the teaching profession.
According to local sources, vigilant villagers noticed suspicious behavior and reached the classroom to confront the teacher. What followed was captured in a video now being widely shared. The footage has sparked widespread anger and disappointment among locals, who are demanding immediate disciplinary action.
The villagers alleged that the teacher initially denied the allegations, claiming the bottle was found on the road and filled with water to be thrown away elsewhere. The teacher further stated that the woman living opposite the school does not allow littering in front of her house, which is why he brought the bottle into the school premises. However, the explanation failed to convince the locals, especially since the bottle was allegedly full of alcohol.
Despite his attempts to dismiss the situation, the vigilant citizens stood their ground and demanded accountability. The incident was promptly reported to Talwara Police Station, and the teacher has since undergone a medical examination to verify whether he was intoxicated during school hours.
The community is now anxiously watching what steps the education department will take in response to this serious breach of conduct. Many villagers have expressed concerns that such behavior within a school environment sets a dangerous precedent and undermines the institution’s integrity.
