Pune | 07 June,2025: In preparation for this year’s Shri Kshetra Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Alandi Ashadhi Wari, scheduled between 19 June and 6 July 2025, a key coordination meeting took place on Thursday at the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner’s Office.
Officials, police, and representatives from the Devasthan Committee gathered to chalk out detailed plans for crowd control, traffic management, parking, manpower deployment, and overall security during the pilgrimage.
Present at the meeting were Additional Commissioner Sarang Awhad, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shivaji Pawar, Bapu Bangar, Assistant Commissioner Rajendrasingh Gaur, Senior Inspector Bhimrao Narke, and Satish Nandurkar.
Devasthan representatives included Chief Trustee Yogi Niranjannath Guru, H.B.P. Shantinath Maharaj, Dr. Bhavarth Dekhne, Dnyaneshwar Veer, Trustee Adv. Rajendra Umap, H.B.P. Chaitanya Maharaj Londhe, H.B.P. Mahant Purushottam Maharaj, Muralidhar Patil, and Adv. Dr. Rohini Pawar.
During the meeting, Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey reviewed potential challenges such as traffic congestion, large crowds, and security risks. He instructed all departments to coordinate closely to ensure smooth operations and minimal inconvenience for the public.
The session strengthened cooperation between administrative authorities, the police force, and the temple trust, with all stakeholders pledging to prioritise the safety and well-being of the warakaris (devotees).
