Marathwada to receive light rains on July 29; no heavy rain alert issued, providing temporary relief to farmers and citizens.
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar | July 29, 2025: After days of intense rainfall, the weather across Marathwada has eased, with all eight districts currently experiencing scattered Shravan showers. According to the latest weather forecast, the intensity of rainfall has notably reduced, bringing temporary relief to citizens and farmers.
In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, weather patterns are shifting, with expectations of light, isolated showers on Tuesday. Last week’s heavy rains significantly boosted water levels in the Jayakwadi Dam, now recorded at 85% of its storage capacity.
Districts like Jalna, Hingoli, and Parbhani are also forecast to receive light to moderate rainfall today. These areas have seen a noticeable drop in temperature, and similar conditions are expected to persist over the next few days.
In Hingoli, Nanded, Dharashiv, and Beed, light and sporadic rainfall is likely in some regions. Authorities have not issued any rainfall alerts, indicating no imminent threat of severe weather. This change offers some breathing room for local residents and farmers.
While the earlier downpours brought damage to crops in several regions, others saw much-needed water for their fields. With the current lull in heavy rains, agricultural planning will need to adjust accordingly for the coming weeks.
