Minister Girish Mahajan Faces Controversy After Explosive Allegations by Eknath Khadse

Jalgaon: Minister Girish Mahajan, widely regarded as Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s trusted troubleshooter in Maharashtra politics, is now at the center of a major controversy. In a dramatic turn of events, Rashtravadi Congress (Sharad Pawar) MLA Eknath Khadse has leveled sensational allegations against Mahajan, claiming that the minister was involved in an affair with a woman IAS officer.

Khadse further intensified the situation by alleging that Union Home Minister Amit Shah is in possession of Mahajan’s Call Detail Records (CDR). “I will soon meet Amit Shah and demand answers from him regarding this matter,” Khadse stated, escalating the political firestorm.

The long-standing rivalry between Mahajan and Khadse in Jalgaon is well known, with both leaders frequently clashing in the political arena. However, these latest claims have significantly raised the stakes, pushing Mahajan into a serious controversy and sparking a fresh political storm.

Adding fuel to the fire, a journalist released an audio clip that has since gone viral, purportedly supporting the allegations of an inappropriate relationship between Mahajan and the IAS officer. “I know the woman in question, but it would be improper to disclose her name publicly,” Khadse said. He also revealed that Amit Shah had summoned Mahajan and questioned him about the alleged affair, suggesting that the matter has reached the highest levels of power.
