Union Minister Muralidhar Mohol leads a 24×7 war room to rescue stranded Maharashtra tourists from Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring safe return through special flights and real-time coordination efforts.

Pune, April 25, 2025: After a shocking terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, Union Minister Muralidhar Mohol has personally stepped in to lead a fast, sensitive mission to bring stranded Maharashtra tourists home safely.

Working in complete mission mode, a dedicated war room has been operating non-stop under his direct leadership for the past 24 hours, reflecting a remarkable example of coordination and administrative willpower.

So far, 183 citizens have been safely flown back to Maharashtra on Thursday, with another 232 scheduled to depart from Srinagar on Friday. Special flights operated by IndiGo and Air India are being arranged to facilitate this evacuation. The war room continues to function as the nerve center for collecting data, contacting families, finalizing travel arrangements, and monitoring real-time updates.

Comprising 20 energetic youth, the war room team has been equipped with laptops and tasked with gathering inputs from political representatives and tourism stakeholders. They are efficiently coordinating support, providing updates, and assisting those in need.

What makes this effort even more commendable is Mohol’s personal involvement. Despite his niece’s wedding scheduled for Friday, he has stationed himself in the war room for three consecutive days, prioritizing public safety over personal commitments. He has been constantly in touch with the families of the stranded citizens, offering them assurance and timely information.

This hands-on effort not only highlights Mohol’s dedication but also sets an example of what responsive leadership looks like during a crisis.
