Amid threats to his life in Beed jail, murder accused Valmik Karad will be shifted to Nashik jail. Meanwhile, a viral audio clip reveals his alleged casteist abuse over a money dispute.
Beed/Nashik | July 2, 2025 – Valmik Karad, the main accused in the murder of Massajog Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh, is currently lodged in Beed district jail. However, following a recent violent clash between the Geete and Karad gangs inside the prison, serious concerns have emerged regarding Karad’s safety.
In view of this threat, officials have decided to transfer Karad to Nashik Central Jail under tight security to avoid any further complications inside Beed jail.
While this development unfolds, an allegedly shocking audio clip has surfaced, adding a new layer of controversy. In this viral call recording, Karad is allegedly heard using casteist slurs and abusing a youth over a financial dispute. Although the authenticity of the clip has not been confirmed, its content has stirred outrage.
According to sources, the youth in the clip had reportedly given Rs 25 lakh to Karad for some work. However, when the money was not returned, the youth repeatedly contacted him. In response, Karad allegedly threatened and verbally abused him, referring to his caste in a derogatory manner.
Adding to the gravity, Karad’s former aide, Vijaysinh (Bala) Bangar, claimed that Karad not only insulted the youth but later framed him in an extortion case after returning only Rs 5 lakh of the original amount.
The alleged audio clip has now gone viral, raising fresh questions about Karad’s criminal reach even from behind bars. With public anger simmering and his jail transfer imminent, this case is once again under intense spotlight.
