
PMRDA secured third rank in CM’s 100-day reform program; Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase was felicitated for administrative excellence.

Mumbai, May 21, 2025: Institutional performance has secured the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) the third position across the state under the Chief Minister’s “100 Days Administrative Reform” initiative. In which, to talk more about this remarkable effort, Dr. Yogesh Mhase, the PMRDA Metropolitan Commissioner, was felicitated by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, at a special ceremony held at Mantralaya in Mumbai on Tuesday.

The assessment, conducted by the Quality Council of India (QCI), evaluated over 95 corporations, authorities, and government-affiliated institutions across Maharashtra. PMRDA earned an impressive 76.02 points, earning it a place among the top three performers. The final results of the program were officially announced on May 16, 2025.The event was graced by Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Vikas Kharge, and Additional Chief Secretary of the Urban Development Department Asimkumar Gupta, along with other senior officials.
Under Dr. Mhase’s leadership, PMRDA has focused on citizen-centric governance, technological innovations, improved website functionality, cleanliness, and enhanced in-office amenities. These efforts towards administrative transparency and efficiency were key contributors to the organization’s high ranking.
Commenting on the recognition, Dr. Mhase credited the achievement to the collective effort of his entire team. “This award is the result of the dedicated work by all our officials and staff. Our emphasis remains on public-focused office infrastructure and responsive administration. We are grateful to the state government for acknowledging our work,” he said.
