Jalgaon | July 29, 2025: A disturbing incident has surfaced at Chopda Rural Police Station in Jalgaon district, where Police Sub-Inspector Sajjan Kumar Narheda faces grave allegations of misconduct. Three youths, summoned for questioning in a minor girl’s kidnapping case, have accused Narheda of brutally beating them, forcing them to strip, and compelling them to perform unnatural sexual acts. The accusations, described as a disgrace to humanity, have sparked widespread outrage.
Following the victims’ complaints, senior police officials acted swiftly, suspending Narheda. District Superintendent of Police Maheshwar Reddy has ordered a departmental inquiry to investigate the incident thoroughly, with a detailed report already submitted.
