Pune division registered a pass percentage of 94.81% in the 2025 SSC exams, which is fourth in Maharashtra. Pune district amongst the top division with 97.26%, and 13 students achieved a score of 100%.

Pune | May 14, 2025: Officially announcing the SSC (Class 10) results on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) finally ended the protracted wait for around 15 lakh children throughout the state. Press conferences revealed the findings; individual scores were posted on the official board website from 13th May 1 PM onwards.
Pune came fourth in the state overall among the nine regional divisions, closely behind Konkan, Kolhapur, and Mumbai. This year the Pune division recorded an amazing 97.26% pass percentage.Data presented by the board shows that 2,63,154 Pune division pupils overall showed up for the Class 10 test; 2,49,506 of them passed. Three districts make up the division: Pune, Solapur, and Ahilyanagar; Pune comes first with an amazing 97.26% pass rate. Solapur trailed with 92.83%, while Ahilyanagar passed with 91.85%.
With 1,32,447 students, Pune district also accounted for the greatest number of examinees; Solapur had 63,849 and Ahilyanagar had 66,858 pupils showing up.
Performance-wise, many Pune division students achieved outstanding marks. Several of 79,824 students surpassed 75%, graduating as first-class with distinction. Whereas 63,345 were graded in the second class (45-60%), another 86,554 students came in the range of first class (60–75%). Another 19,744 students passed with marks ranging between 35 and 45%.
Fascinatingly, 52,638 pupils in the division gained extra marks for extracurricular activities—which are still rather important for raising general marks. Among them, athletics helped 5,827 students, followed by sketching, which became the most frequent activity helping 44,072 pupils get additional credit. Thanks to these extra marks, 13 Pune division students especially obtained a perfect 100%.
While families and kids all throughout the state celebrate the SSC results, Pune division’s achievement shows a constant dedication to academic excellence along with well-rounded student development.
