The city’s weather is expected to remain stable over the next two days, bringing some much-needed consistency after recent fluctuations. However, according to the forecast, cloudy skies are likely to return soon after, possibly hinting at a shift in atmospheric conditions.
Pune, May 03, 2025: Pune, which has been enduring temperatures in the forties over the past few days, can expect a brief respite as the heat stabilizes for the next two days. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the temperature will remain relatively steady, providing some relief from the intense heat.
However, this calm is expected to be short-lived. After this period of stability, the city will experience cloudy skies with a chance of thunder, lightning, and light to moderate rainfall starting Tuesday, May 6th. As a result, a yellow alert has been issued for the city to prepare for potential weather disturbances.
The temperature has been hovering around 41°C recently, with minimums dipping to around 21°C. This weekend, Saturday (May 3rd) is expected to see a slight drop in the maximum temperature, reaching about **40°C, with clear skies throughout the day. On Sunday (May 4th), the weather will remain mostly clear, but clouds may gather later in the day. By Tuesday, temperatures are expected to drop slightly to 39°C, with more cloud cover and the possibility of rain later.
After several days of sweltering heat, Pune’s weather will now stabilize, offering much-needed relief to the residents. The soaring temperatures that have reached the forties recently will finally dip, providing a break from the intense heat. This temporary cool-down will make it easier for people to go about their daily routines, offering some comfort from the scorching sun. The coming days will bring a welcome respite, allowing the city to breathe easier before the weather shifts again.
