Phaltan |July 24, 2025: The long-standing political rivalry between BJP MLA Jayakumar Gore and senior leader Ramraje Naik Nimbalkar witnessed a fresh chapter during a public event at Kolki, Phaltan, where Ramraje issued a mix of blessings, warnings, and veiled criticism aimed at Gore.
Speaking at an inauguration and dedication event for development projects, Ramraje publicly extended his best wishes to Jayakumar Gore, stating that he holds no personal enmity with him. However, his remarks also carried pointed undertones.
“Jaikumar Gore and I have no personal quarrel. May God give him wisdom. I hope he becomes a minister or even a sentry, but works for the poor and uses his power wisely,” Ramraje said, stressing that it was his right as a senior figure to advise the younger leader.
Without directly naming Ranjitsinh Naik Nimbalkar, Ramraje added tension to the address with cryptic statements.
“These are days of terror. I know what the police do, how to stop someone. I even know who was behind the murder a few days ago — but I won’t say now. I get threats despite Y-category security. Even my guards are taunted,” he said, slapping his forehead in frustration.
Ramraje hinted at larger forces working against him and maintained that he is currently under self-imposed silence, but added a sharp warning:
“The censorship on my mouth will be lifted at the right time.”
This public message appears to escalate the long-brewing tension in Satara’s political landscape, where personal grievances often blend with political maneuvering. The seasoned leader’s words reflect both restraint and veiled threats of revelations to come.
