Salman Khan Gets Death Threat; Mumbai Police Nab Suspect Within 24 Hours
Mumbai, April 15, 2025 – Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again been targeted with a death threat, prompting swift action by the Mumbai Police and a significant increase in security around the actor’s residence.
The threat, received via WhatsApp at the Worli Traffic Police Control Room, claimed that Khan’s car would be blown up and that the actor could be attacked inside his home. The Worli Police registered an FIR immediately and launched a detailed investigation.
Within 24 hours, police traced the sender—a 26-year-old man from a village near Vadodara, Gujarat. Preliminary reports suggest the suspect is undergoing medical treatment and may have a history of mental health issues. Authorities have summoned him to appear before the Worli Police within the next four days for further interrogation.
Meanwhile, security outside Salman Khan’s Bandra residence has been heightened as a precautionary measure. While initial findings suggest the threat may lack credible intent, officials are not taking any chances, especially given the actor’s history of receiving similar threats in recent years.
The investigation is ongoing to determine the motive, mental condition of the suspect, and any potential links to past threats made against the actor.
