
Eknath Shinde pledges action on missing Pakistani citizens, praises Shiv Sainiks’ role in national security, and expresses grief over Pahalgam attack victims during a heartfelt visit to Buldhana.
Pune, April 28, 2025: Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has issued a stern warning over the issue of missing Pakistani citizens in the state. Speaking at a public gathering in Buldhana, he said, “107 Pakistani nationals have gone missing, and the police are actively tracing them. Strict action will also be taken against those providing shelter to such individuals.” Shinde made it clear that Shiv Sainiks would not sit idle in matters concerning national security and would act like soldiers to protect the country.
Shinde was in Buldhana on a gratitude visit and addressed the gathering at Tilak Krida Natya Mandir. Exuding confidence, he assured people that such attacks would not be repeated again, and the enemies would not dare to strike in the future.
The meeting was attended by several leaders including Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav, State Ministers Gulabrao Patil and Sanjay Rathod, former MLA Sanjay Raimulkar, Anandrao Adsul, Shiv Sena spokesperson Dr. Jyoti Waghmare, and other local office-bearers.
Talking on the Pehalgam Incident , Shinde expressed deep sorrow. He shared that three families from Dombivli — Joshi, Mone, and Lele — lost their loved ones in the terrorist attack. “Listening to their griefs left me shaken. Losing three family members before their very eyes is a grief beyond words,” he said.
On Sunday, Deputy CM Shinde, along with MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, personally met the families of the victrims who were dead in the Pehalgam Incident.
Braving the intense summer heat, the people of Buldhana turned out in huge numbers, filling Eknath Shinde with gratitude. Touched by their unwavering support, he said, “Very few are blessed with such heartfelt love from voters.” Shinde also reaffirmed his commitment, saying, “I was a worker before becoming Chief Minister, and I’ll always remain one.” He proudly noted that Shiv Sena’s rising influence in Buldhana is clearly unsettling their political rivals
