A 21-year-old girl allegedly died by suicide at Sathe College, Vile Parle. Her family suspects murder, raising serious questions and demanding a full investigation. No suicide note was found
Mumbai | June 20, 2025: A heartbreaking and suspicious incident has rocked the city as 21-year-old Sandhya Pathak from Nalasopara allegedly died by suicide after falling from the third floor of Sathe College, Vile Parle. However, her family strongly disputes the claim of suicide, calling it an act of murder masked as self-harm. According to police sources, Sandhya arrived at college on Thursday morning, but by 7:15 am, reports claim she had jumped from the third floor. Tragically, she later succumbed to her injuries. Yet, troubling details have emerged: Sandhya’s class was on the ground floor — so why was she on the third floor at all? There is also no suicide note found at the scene. Her family, devastated and furious, is demanding a deeper investigation. “Our daughter had no mental health issues. If she really wanted to end her life, she wouldn’t go to college for it. Someone pushed her,” said a grieving family member. The family also criticized the college administration for informing them only after Sandhya passed away during treatment. When her body was brought to Nalasopara late at night, a crowd of angry residents gathered, voicing outrage and calling for justice. Police officials have assured that a detailed investigation is underway. For now, the question remains—was this really suicide, or is the truth yet to surface?
