In Exercise Maru Jwala, the Indian Army and Air Force displayed precision and joint operational excellence under Southern Command’s Trishul, highlighting seamless coordination and mission-ready synergy in airborne operations.


Pune | November 13, 2025: In a striking demonstration of precision and inter-service coordination, the Indian Army and Indian Air Force jointly executed a large-scale airborne operation under Exercise Maru Jwala, held as part of the Tri-Services Exercise Trishul led by Southern Command in support of the Sudarshan Chakra Corps.

The exercise showcased the seamless integration of air and ground forces, reflecting the Armed Forces’ growing focus on multi-domain operations and real-time coordination during high-intensity missions. The manoeuvres highlighted India’s capability to deploy and sustain airborne forces swiftly and effectively in diverse operational environments.

Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, witnessed the exercise and commended the Airborne Forces, Sudarshan Chakra Corps, and the Indian Air Force for their exemplary performance and high state of readiness.

The event underscored the Indian Armed Forces’ commitment to jointness, precision, and operational excellence  key pillars in maintaining mission readiness across the spectrum of modern warfare.
