Jehangir Wellness Centre has become the world’s first healthcare institution to adopt AI-based emotional assessments through Emoscape, linking emotional patterns with physical health to strengthen preventive and holistic care.
Pune| November 19,2025: Jehangir Wellness Centre (JWC), Pune, has become the first healthcare institution in the world to formally integrate AI-based emotional assessments into preventive healthcare. This milestone comes through a partnership with Emoscape, a medical-grade Emotion AI platform developed by Nihilent. The collaboration marks a significant shift in how emotional and physical well-being are understood together, placing India at the forefront of human-centric healthcare innovation.
With Emoscape now part of routine wellness checks, every visitor at JWC can undergo a non-invasive emotional scan that evaluates the nine core emotions, or Navarasas. In just sixty seconds, the platform maps emotional intensities using safe, contactless technology. These emotional readings are then studied alongside physical health indicators, giving doctors new insight into how emotional states may influence symptoms, recovery, and overall wellness.

Senior healthcare leader Lt. Gen. Dr. Madhuri Kanitkar (Retd) said the initiative reinforces a deeper view of medicine, one that acknowledges emotional health as inseparable from physical well-being. JWC Trustee Cowas Jehangir described the integration as a natural step toward holistic care. Nihilent Founder and Executive Vice Chairman L. C. Singh added that Emoscape was created to help healthcare understand the emotional dimension of healing, a layer traditionally overlooked in clinical settings.
JWC’s approach stands out for its focus on mind-body balance. Emotional assessment data from Emoscape is paired with medical reports to guide interventions, offering a complete view of a person’s health. The platform is already attracting interest from diverse age groups, including working professionals facing burnout, adolescents dealing with identity changes, and seniors experiencing loneliness.
This marks Emoscape’s first formal entry into the healthcare sector after extensive testing across multiple fields. Its adoption at JWC sets the stage for wider use in hospitals and clinics. The initiative signals a future where emotional well-being is central to care and where AI supports more compassionate, integrative healthcare.
