PCMC and Partners Organise Free Job Fair to Boost Youth Employment Opportunities in Pimpri-Chinchwad

Pimpri-Chinchwad | 28 November 2025: The Social Development Department of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), in collaboration with Lighthouse Communities Foundation and Equitas Development Initiatives Trust, will host a free job fair for young professionals on 28 November 2025. The event is scheduled to take place at the Pimpri Chinchwad Auto Cluster from 10 am to 5 pm.
The initiative aims to enhance youth employability by bridging the gap between local industry requirements and jobseekers’ skills. By providing a platform for career advancement, the job fair seeks to strengthen the connection between Pune’s industrial ecosystem and emerging talent.
A variety of sectors will offer employment opportunities, including retail, logistics, automotive, construction, education, media and entertainment, electronics and hardware, IT/ITES, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and other skill-based fields. Candidates aged 18 to 35 years are eligible to participate and must register online before attending. Attendees are required to carry an Aadhaar card, PAN card, educational certificates, and two passport-size photographs.
Organisers emphasise that the event provides direct engagement with hiring companies, helping participants gain exposure to real-time industry expectations and available roles. It also allows companies to tap into a diverse pool of talent prepared for skill-based employment.
This collaborative effort by PCMC and partner organisations reflects a focused approach toward youth development, employment facilitation, and supporting the city’s industrial growth while empowering young professionals to take their first step toward sustainable careers.
