Pune Police have stated that a Class 10 schoolgirl allegedly died by suicide after being subjected to continuous threats, including demands for Rs 50,000 and intimidation that her private photographs would be leaked online if the money was not paid. Investigators believe the prolonged mental pressure caused severe emotional distress, leaving the minor with no perceived way out.

According to police officials familiar with the case, the accused allegedly obtained the girl’s photographs and used them to extort money over a period of time.
