Central Railway Extends Pandharpur-Tirupati Weekly Special Trains to Handle Passenger Rush

Central Railway has extended the Pandharpur-Tirupati weekly special trains till late February and early March 2026 to manage increased passenger demand, while keeping schedules unchanged.

Mumbai|January 30, 2026:To manage the additional rush of passengers, Central Railway has extended the periodicity of the Pandharpur-Tirupati-Pandharpur Weekly Special trains, as per Coaching Notification Nos. 65/2026 and 57/2026 issued on January 28, 2026.

According to the notification, Train No. 07032 Pandharpur–Tirupati Special, which operates as a Sunday service, has been extended from February 8 to March 1, 2026. Similarly, Train No. 07012 Tirupati-Pandharpur Special, running on Saturdays, will now operate from February 7 to February 28, 2026. The extension has been announced to cater to heightened passenger demand on this important pilgrimage and long-distance route.Central Railway clarified that there will be no change in the existing schedule of these trains. The services will continue to run with the same timings, route, coach composition, and stoppages as notified earlier. This ensures operational continuity while providing additional travel opportunities to passengers during the high-demand period.

Reservations for the extended trips of Train No. 07032 will open from January 30, 2026. Tickets can be booked at Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters as well as through the official IRCTC website. Passengers are advised that special train charges will be applicable for these services.

Railway authorities have also urged passengers to check the detailed timetable, halts, and reservation status before planning their journey. The extension of these weekly special trains is aimed at easing congestion and offering smoother travel arrangements amid increased passenger movement on the Pandharpur-Tirupati sector.
