Weather observations from multiple parts of the city show that night-time temperatures have climbed steadily over the past few days, reducing the intensity of early-morning cold that had defined much of the season. Areas such as Shivajinagar and Lohegaon have reported higher minimum readings, marking a clear change from the colder conditions recorded earlier in winter.

The recent warming trend follows a prolonged cold spell during which Pune witnessed some of its lowest temperatures in recent years, with several mornings recording single-digit readings. The sharp contrast between the earlier cold phase and the current milder nights suggests that the coldest part of the season has passed, even though occasional cool mornings may still occur in the coming days.
