Vinoy Kumar Choubey (IPS) addressed 1325 police recruits in Solapur, highlighting discipline, integrity, and service responsibility.

Solapur, March 24, 2026: Vinoy Kumar Choubey (IPS), Commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad Police, addressed a batch of 1,325 newly inducted police personnel during the passing out parade held at the Police Training Centre (PTC) in Solapur, marking an important milestone in their professional journey.

Congratulating the recruits, he described the occasion as a moment of pride achieved through discipline, determination, and consistent effort. He noted that the trainees are now stepping into their roles as law enforcers, responsible for maintaining order and contributing to society.

He emphasised that wearing the police uniform carries not only authority but also responsibility, accountability, and commitment. He encouraged the recruits to uphold these values throughout their service.

Highlighting public expectations, he stated that police personnel are required to act with fairness, honesty, and sensitivity. He added that public trust is built through the conduct of individual officers, making ethical behaviour essential in all situations.

During his address, he outlined three key principles for the recruits to follow – respect for the law, sensitivity towards citizens, and balanced decision-making with courage and restraint in challenging situations.

He also pointed to the evolving nature of policing and stressed the importance of adopting modern methods, including the use of technology, timely decision-making, and effective communication. He encouraged the recruits to continuously enhance their skills and stay prepared for emerging challenges.
