Maharashtra Global Solar Expo Begins in Pune, Focus on Renewable Energy and Innovation

Maharashtra Global Solar Expo has commenced in Pune, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to promote solar energy adoption and sustainable solutions in India’s growing clean energy sector.

April 17 | Pune: The Maharashtra Global Solar Expo began on Friday at the Auto Cluster Expo Centre in Pune, marking a significant gathering for stakeholders in the renewable energy sector. The two-day event, scheduled for April 17 and 18, aims to accelerate the adoption of solar energy and highlight innovations driving India’s transition toward sustainable power solutions.

The expo is being jointly organised by EQMagPro (EQ International Magazine), CZZ-Net Decarbonization Marketplace, Suryacon Conference, and GABA. These organisations have played a key role over the years in strengthening India’s solar and renewable energy ecosystem through industry platforms, events, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

The event brings together a diverse group of participants, including government officials, DISCOM representatives, power utilities, industry leaders, investors, EPC companies, and technology innovators. It serves as a platform for discussions on policy frameworks, investment opportunities, and technological advancements in the solar sector. Key focus areas of the expo include rooftop solar solutions, utility-scale solar projects, hybrid systems, energy storage technologies, EV charging infrastructure, and smart energy solutions. Special attention is also being given to government schemes such as PM KUSUM, which aims to support farmers through solar-powered irrigation and energy independence.
