April 30, 2026 | Karmala: Fresh details have emerged regarding the growing wealth of Karmala-based self-styled godman Manohar Bhosale, popularly known as “Bhondoo Manohar Mama”, who is facing allegations of cheating devotees under the guise of predicting the future.

According to information now coming to light, Bhosale has allegedly built a large property empire within a short period. The latest revelation suggests that he has purchased a massive 25-acre agricultural land parcel at Chilwadi village, located near Karjat in Ahilyanagar district, by allegedly paying crores of rupees. Sources said the land purchase has sparked renewed public discussion over how Bhosale amassed such wealth, especially amid ongoing complaints of fraud and exploitation.

Further reports indicate that in Undargaon village in Karmala taluka, two acres of land are registered in the name of Bhosale’s father Chandrakant Bhosale, where a religious math has reportedly been constructed by Manohar Bhosale. Additionally, in Ghoti, around 27 acres of farmland is reportedly registered in the name of his wife Rupali Bhosale. Investigators and local sources have also pointed to expanding property links outside Maharashtra. An ashram construction project is reportedly underway at Ganagapur in Karnataka, indicating a wider operational spread.

Apart from farmland and religious structures, information has surfaced that Bhosale may also own flats in Pune city, particularly in the Manjari and Hadapsar areas. Reports further suggest that he may have connections in Navi Mumbai, though details are still emerging.

Meanwhile, the Karmala police have registered another cheating case against Manohar Bhosale and his associate Vishal Waghmare. According to the complaint filed by businessman Dalaram Shankarram Sutar from Dhankawadi, Pune, the accused allegedly promised business success and relief from spinal problems, and cheated him of ₹1.21 lakh.

Police officials said the case has been registered and further investigation is underway into the financial transactions, property purchases, and possible involvement of other individuals.
