Pune-Danapur-Supaul Express Renumbered; Indian Railways Announces 30 Diwali Special Trains
Indian Railways has announced the renumbering of the Pune-Danapur-Supaul Express and the introduction of 30 special trains to manage the Diwali festive rush.
Pune, October 03, 2025: Indian Railways has announced that the Pune-Danapur-Supaul Express will operate under new train numbers starting December 4, 2025. Train No. 12149, which currently runs as the Pune-Danapur-Supaul Express, will now be designated as Train No. 11401, while Train No. 12150, the Supaul-Danapur-Pune Express, will be renumbered to Train No. 11402. Passengers are advised to note these changes for future bookings and travel plans to avoid any confusion.
In addition to the renumbering, Indian Railways will operate 30 special trains during the upcoming Diwali festival season to meet the increased passenger demand. These special trains are designed to ease travel congestion, provide more seating options, and ensure a smoother travel experience for passengers traveling across popular routes during the festive period. Travelers are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and book tickets early to secure availability on both regular and special trains.
