CREDAI Pune hosts the 4th Pride Best Facility Awards 2025, honouring 105 developers for setting new standards in labour welfare and worker-friendly construction sites.
December 20, 2025 | Pune – CREDAI Pune has once again reinforced its leadership in promoting ethical and people-centric real estate development by successfully hosting the fourth edition of the Pride Best Facility Awards 2025. Held on December 16 at Hotel Hyatt, Pune, the prestigious ceremony recognized developers who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to improving living conditions, safety, and dignity for construction workers residing at labour camps. With participation from more than 105 developers, this year’s edition recorded unprecedented engagement across multiple categories, reflecting the growing importance of labour welfare in the construction sector.
The awards focused on key aspects of worker wellbeing, including skill development, women workers’ welfare, safety at labour camps, health and hygiene, crèche facilities, and maximum registration under the Building and Other Construction Workers Act. Special recognitions such as Silver and Gold Awards, the R. Vasudevan Award for Innovation, and a newly introduced Promising Debutants category further broadened the scope, encouraging first-time participants to adopt best practices from the outset.

More than a ceremonial recognition, the Pride Best Facility Awards have emerged as a catalyst for transformation across the real estate industry. By highlighting exemplary models of labour welfare, CREDAI Pune has established clear benchmarks that motivate developers to go beyond statutory compliance. Improved sanitation, safer accommodations, access to healthcare, and child-care facilities have led to higher morale among workers, reduced on-site risks, and enhanced productivity, ultimately creating a more stable and efficient workforce.
The ceremony was graced by Shri Vinoy Kumar Choubey, IPS, Hon’ble Police Commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad, as Chief Guest, who praised CREDAI Pune’s sustained efforts in setting high standards for labour camps. Shri Krishnakumar Goyal, Chairman and Managing Director of the Kohinoor Group, attended as Guest of Honour, while Shri Shailendra Pol, Former Additional Commissioner of the Labour Department, participated as a Special Invitee, sharing insights on regulatory excellence and best practices in labour welfare.
Senior CREDAI Pune office bearers, including President Mr. Manish Jain, Vice President Mr. Arvind Jain, Vice President and Awards Chairman Mr. J.P. Shroff, Mrs. Sapna Rathi, Convener of the Labour Welfare Wing at CREDAI Maharashtra, and Pune Labour Welfare Committee Convener Mr. Milind Talathi, were present along with managing committee members and staff. Their collective presence underlined the organisation’s unified vision of placing worker wellbeing at the core of sustainable industry growth.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Manish Jain emphasized that healthy, safe, and dignified living conditions for labourers directly translate into better productivity, quality of work, and long-term workforce stability for developers. He highlighted that the awards create healthy competition, encouraging continuous improvement and adoption of best practices year after year. Mr. Arvind Jain noted that the initiative was launched post-COVID after realizing the urgent need to retain and respect labourers who form the backbone of the construction industry.
Shri Vinoy Kumar Choubey remarked that such facilities are among the best he has seen in Maharashtra, underscoring the seriousness and consistency of CREDAI Pune’s efforts. Shri Shailendra Pol added that Pune developers are setting an example for the entire state and urged other associations to replicate this model, stressing that modern labour laws now prioritize dignity, safety, and social security alongside wages.
The Pride Best Facility Awards 2025 concluded with recognition across multiple project categories, celebrating excellence in labour welfare and innovation. The initiative has firmly positioned CREDAI Pune as a national benchmark in ethical real estate development, reaffirming its commitment to enhancing the quality of life and dignity of construction workers and their families.
