ESNOCON 2026
Ruby Hall Clinic hosts ESNOCON 2026, uniting global neuro-oncology experts while celebrating 50 years of radiation oncology excellence in Pune.
Pune /April 2: Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune is set to host ESNOCON 2026, the annual conference of the Indian Society of Neuro-Oncology, from April 2 to 5, 2026. Recognized as a significant global platform in the field, the conference will bring together leading national and international experts specializing in neuro-oncology. The event is expected to highlight Pune’s growing prominence on the global medical map, particularly in the treatment of brain and spinal tumors.

Designed as a multidisciplinary forum, ESNOCON 2026 will convene neurosurgeons, neurologists, radiation and medical oncologists, neuropathologists, and radiologists under one roof. The conference aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration among specialists, while also serving as a valuable learning platform for resident doctors, trainees, and early-career professionals. Attendees will benefit from case-based discussions, research presentations, expert-led sessions, and hands-on workshops that reflect the latest advancements in the field.
A key focus of the scientific program will be emerging and advanced treatment approaches, including molecular diagnostics, advanced imaging technologies, precision radiotherapy, and immunotherapy. The participation of globally renowned experts from countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, Thailand, and the United States will further enrich the academic depth of the conference. Their contributions to neuro-oncology research and clinical practice are expected to provide new insights into the evolving landscape of cancer care.
The conference also coincides with a significant milestone for Ruby Hall Clinic-the 50th anniversary of its Radiation Oncology Department. Since establishing Maharashtra’s first radiotherapy facility outside Mumbai in 1976, the department has consistently remained at the forefront of life-saving cancer treatment technologies. Over the decades, it has pioneered several advancements, including the introduction of MV-CBCT IGRT technology in 2005 (a first in Asia outside Japan) and the adoption of the advanced CyberKnife S7 system in 2023.
With more than 25,000 patients treated and over 500,000 therapy sessions delivered, the department has built a legacy of precision, innovation, and patient-centered care. The institution’s leadership emphasized that the 50-year milestone is not only a moment of reflection on past achievements but also an opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to delivering advanced and accessible cancer treatment in India. Special emphasis has been placed on ensuring that no child is denied cancer treatment due to financial constraints, with initiatives aimed at providing free treatment to underprivileged pediatric patients.
Institutional representatives also highlighted the importance of integrating global expertise with India’s clinical experience to create a powerful platform for knowledge exchange. With multiple international presentations planned and a strong academic training program in place, the focus remains on advancing high-quality research and prospective clinical trials. These efforts are expected to contribute significantly to shaping the future of cancer treatment.
As a convergence of global expertise, scientific innovation, and clinical excellence, ESNOCON 2026 underscores the commitment of Ruby Hall Clinic to advancing oncology care. The conference not only celebrates five decades of excellence in radiation oncology but also sets the stage for future breakthroughs in neuro-oncology and cancer research.
