When they appeared at the office, the administration confirmed that their names were not on any official records, exposing a fraudulent scheme targeting job-seekers.

In response, MahaMetro clarified that it has not authorised any agents or third parties to recruit on its behalf. All genuine job vacancies and appointment procedures are published exclusively on the official MahaMetro website. The authority urged people to be cautious and to avoid anyone offering jobs for money or through unofficial channels.

Authorities emphasised that citizens should rely only on official notices and immediately report any suspicious activity related to job offers. Sharing information about these fake letters on social media and through personal networks is also encouraged to prevent future scams.
