Fresh Cheating Complaint Filed Against Jayantilal Oswal and Rushabh Oswal Ahead of Bail Hearing

A fresh cheating complaint alleging ₹1.98 crore fraud has been filed against Jayantilal Oswal and Rushabh Oswal in Pune just days before their March 9 bail hearing in an earlier cheating FIR.

Pune, 6th March 2026: In a significant development ahead of an upcoming bail hearing, a fresh cheating complaint has been filed with Pune Police against Jayantilal Oswal and Rushabh Oswal, who are already facing an existing cheating FIR.

According to the complaint, the complainant has alleged that he was cheated of nearly ₹1.98 crore by the accused through fraudulent dealings. The complaint has been submitted just days before a Pune court is scheduled to hear the accused persons’ bail application on March 9 in the earlier cheating case.

Sources familiar with the matter said the complainant has approached the police claiming that he was induced into a financial transaction that resulted in substantial monetary loss. The complaint accuses the duo of misrepresentation and financial cheating, prompting police to examine the allegations.

The timing of the fresh complaint has drawn attention as it comes immediately before the scheduled bail hearing in the existing FIR. Police officials are understood to be reviewing the contents of the complaint.

The case adds to the legal challenges facing Jayantilal Oswal and Rushabh Oswal, who are already under scrutiny in connection with the earlier cheating allegations currently being investigated by Pune Police.
