House Democrats released 68 previously unpublished photos from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate showing prominent individuals in social settings. The release precedes a Justice Department deadline to disclose related case files.

Washington, D.C. | December 19, 2025:House Democrats on the U.S. House Oversight Committee released a new batch of 68 photos from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on Thursday. The images were made public amid growing political pressure as the Justice Department nears a legal deadline to disclose additional Epstein-related materials.

The newly released photos show Epstein with a range of well-known figures, including Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Google co-founder Sergey Brin, filmmaker Woody Allen, and linguist Noam Chomsky. Other images appear to capture social gatherings, dinners and events where Epstein was present alongside public intellectuals and business leaders.

Committee members and news outlets have been clear that the presence of any individual in these photos does not necessarily indicate criminal conduct. The Oversight Committee has said it provided the photos without added context, and no official allegations have been made against the people shown.

The collection also includes images of passports and redacted identity documents from several countries. Some of the photos depict anonymous women, with faces obscured to protect privacy. The broader cache of Epstein materials, estimated to include tens of thousands of files, has been released in stages. One image set in the release shows text excerpts from Vladimir Nabokov’s controversial novel Lolita written on a woman’s body. Committee officials stress that these elements are part of the historical archive and not evidence of illegal acts by those depicted.

The photo release comes just before the deadline set by the Epstein Files Transparency Act, a law passed earlier this year that requires most unclassified government documents related to Epstein’s criminal network to be made public by December 19 unless exceptions apply.

Lawmakers from both parties have used the ongoing disclosures to call for greater transparency about Epstein’s relationships and network. Some Democrats want the Justice Department to release additional materials immediately, while others argue for careful review to protect victim identities and ongoing investigations.
