India clinched three gold medals and one silver at the Asian Archery Championships in Dhaka, with standout performances by Jyothi Vennam, Abhishek Verma, and Deepshika Kumari.


Dhaka | November 14, 2025: At the Asian Archery Championships in Dhaka, the Indian archery contingent delivered a dominant performance, bringing home three gold medals and one silver to affirm their standing among the continent’s best. Among the Indian medal winners were Jyothi Vennam, Abhishek Verma and Deepika Kumari, who each produced remarkable performances throughout the tournament.

Jyothi Vennam led the charge in the compound events, securing gold and demonstrating precise arrow placement and calm composure in high‑pressure situations. Abhishek Verma, also in the compound discipline, showcased his experience and consistency by contributing to one of India’s gold medals. Meanwhile, Deepika Kumari added to her already impressive résumé with a gold win, reminding the archery world of her continued elite status. The silver medal completed India’s haul and added depth to the team’s success at this major continental event.

Team officials praised the archers for their technical excellence, strong psychological resilience and ability to perform under tough competition.
