Kolhapur | December 15, 2025:The Maharashtra government has approved the final land transfer for the Kolhapur IT Park, marking a significant step toward realizing the city’s technological and economic ambitions. The decision comes after thorough deliberations between state officials and municipal authorities.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and local MLA Amal Mahadik expressed their support for the project, highlighting its potential to generate employment and strengthen the IT ecosystem in Kolhapur. Officials stated that the transfer clears a major hurdle, allowing construction and development work to proceed without further delay.

The IT Park is expected to attract both startups and established technology companies, creating a hub for innovation and digital services in the region.
