Nashik | 17 November 2025: A tense situation unfolded in Nashik today as a leopard was spotted inside the premises of Bhosala Military School, triggering a swift response from authorities.

Students in the afternoon shift were immediately sent home as a precaution, following consultation between school management and forest officials.The chaos began when staff and students sighted the big cat within the school grounds, prompting quick coordination with the forest department.

The forest department, backed by teams from the RESQ Nashik Division and local police, kicked off a search operation.Given the dense vegetation around the area, they are deploying thermal drones to track the animal’s movement.

Parents, already alarmed by recent leopard sightings in Nashik, rushed to the school once the news spread.Officials have urged calm, assuring that every step is being taken to ensure student safety and to safely capture or relocate the predator.
