Maharashtra government extends Ladki Bahin Yojana e‑KYC correction deadline to March 31, 2026, helping women retain monthly financial assistance.
Pune | 07 February, 2026 – The Maharashtra government has extended the e‑KYC correction deadline for the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana to March 31, 2026, providing beneficiaries with additional time to update their details and ensure uninterrupted access to monthly assistance. The extension addresses widespread difficulties faced by women who were unable to receive payments due to errors during the initial e‑KYC process. This move ensures that eligible beneficiaries do not lose their financial support because of minor technical discrepancies.
Under the Ladki Bahin Yojana, eligible women receive a monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500, directly transferred to their bank accounts. Many beneficiaries previously reported delays or missed payments due to mismatches between their personal details and Aadhaar records, inactive bank accounts, or issues with biometric verification. These challenges left thousands of women without timely access to funds, prompting the government to reopen the correction window.

The extended deadline allows beneficiaries to correct their e‑KYC details either online via the scheme’s portal or in person at nearby Common Service Centres (CSCs). Officials have emphasized that no further extensions will be provided, making it crucial for all affected women to take action before March 31, 2026.
Authorities have also urged beneficiaries to verify essential information, including linking Aadhaar to an active bank account, updating their mobile numbers to receive OTPs, and regularly checking their application status online. These steps aim to reduce technical barriers and prevent future delays in disbursements.
The Ladki Bahin Yojana, aimed at financially empowering women aged 21 to 65, supports millions of households across Maharashtra. With this final extension in place, the government seeks to ensure that eligible women continue to receive the scheme’s benefits without disruption.
