Pune | 21 November 2025: Residents across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad have received welcome news from the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority. MHADA has announced an extension for applications to its housing lottery, which includes 4,186 homes across the Pune region. The new deadline is November 30 at 11:59 pm, offering relief to applicants who faced delays due to technical errors during document uploads and payment processing.
The housing scheme has already seen a strong response, with nearly 1.83 lakh applications submitted so far. Out of these, around 1.33 lakh applicants have completed the payment of the earnest deposit. However, several applicants reported difficulties completing their forms, prompting MHADA to extend the timeline to ensure everyone gets a fair chance.
The available homes have been distributed across multiple categories. The Priority Scheme includes 1,683 units, while the First Come First Served category offers 299 units. In addition, 864 homes fall under the 15% Inclusive Housing Scheme, and 3,222 homes are part of the 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme.
Applicants must complete the online application by November 30, while RTGS/NEFT payments will be accepted until December 1. MHADA has urged applicants to carefully check and upload all required documents before submission.
This extension offers thousands of families a renewed opportunity to secure affordable housing in Pune’s heavily demanded real-estate market.
