Nilesh Ghaywal’s Maternal Uncle Levels Serious Allegations Against MLA Rohit Pawar

Ahmednagar | October 10, 2025 — Janakiram “Anna” Gaikwad, the maternal uncle of gangster Nilesh Ghaywal, has made serious allegations against MLA Rohit Pawar. Gaikwad claimed that Rohit Pawar is behind the troubles faced by Nilesh and his brother Sachin Ghaywal, accusing him of conspiring to criminalize and politically target them.

According to Gaikwad, both brothers were preparing to enter local politics, and Pawar allegedly created hurdles to block their rise. He accused Pawar of manipulating cases against them and using his influence to damage their image.

Gaikwad said that Pawar had also tried to secure Nilesh’s release from Amravati jail, but not with good intentions — instead, to maintain control and use the situation for his own gain. He warned that those speaking the truth about this political interference were being threatened or suppressed.

The Ghaywal family’s ancestral home is in Sonegaon, Jamkhed taluka of Ahmednagar district, though they currently reside in Pune. Gaikwad claimed that since Nilesh left the country, more details have started surfacing about Pawar’s alleged involvement.

He demanded that Rohit Pawar stop “playing political games” and urged him to face the truth. Gaikwad also alleged that Sachin Ghaywal’s firearm license was deliberately withheld under Pawar’s pressure. The home ministry, however, has clarified that no recommendation was made in Sachin’s favor.

Meanwhile, police investigations into Nilesh Ghaywal’s passport and his brother’s arms license are ongoing, after suspicions of irregularities were raised. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar confirmed that the case is being examined in detail.

As the allegations unfold, all eyes are on Rohit Pawar’s response, with political circles anticipating further developments in this growing controversy.
