Relief for NCP as Veteran Leader Sharad Pawar Recovers, Discharged from Pune Hospital

NCP chief Sharad Pawar has fully recovered from chest congestion and has been discharged from a Pune hospital, with doctors advising rest before resuming public engagements.

Pune | 14 February, 2026- There was a wave of relief among party workers and supporters after veteran politician Sharad Pawar was discharged from a hospital in Pune following successful treatment for chest congestion and related health concerns. The senior leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) had been admitted earlier this week after experiencing breathing discomfort and persistent coughing.

Medical officials confirmed that the 80-plus leader responded well to treatment and his condition steadily improved during his stay. After careful monitoring and a course of medication, doctors declared him stable and fit for discharge.
