On the centenary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the teaser of the upcoming film ‘Shatak: Sanghatil 100 Varsh’ was released, showcasing RSS’s century-long journey and key moments.

New Delhi, January 31, 2026:To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the teaser for the film ‘Shatak: Sanghatil 100 Varsh’ was officially unveiled, generating interest among audiences and supporters of the organisation.

The documentary-style feature film aims to chronicle the century-long journey of the RSS from its founding in 1925 to its evolution into a nationwide volunteer movement that has played a role in India’s cultural, social and political landscape. The teaser offers glimpses of pivotal moments, including the Sangh’s contribution during India’s freedom movement and the periods when the organisation faced bans and emergency restrictions.

According to reports, ‘Shatak: Sanghatil 100 Varsh’ will explore the Sangh’s ideological foundations, its social work, and the sacrifices of its leaders and volunteers over the decades. It is slated for release in cinemas across India on February 19, 2026, aiming to reach a broad audience ahead of other centenary events and celebrations.

Earlier promotional activity for the film included the launch of original songs associated with it. The first track, ‘Bhagwa Hai Apni Pehchaan’, was released in a special event where RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat unveiled the number, celebrating the saffron hue as a symbol of identity and patriotism. The song, sung by prominent playback singer Sukhwinder Singh, reinforces the film’s theme of service, unity, and national pride.

Produced by ADA 360 Degree LLP and directed by Aashish Mall, the movie’s narrative is reported to blend historical documentation with cinematic storytelling, using archival material, narration and dramatization to cover significant milestones of the Sangh’s activities and impact.

The teaser release on the RSS centenary marks a major promotional milestone for the film and is expected to stir conversations about the organisation’s legacy, its role in Indian society, and its portrayal in mainstream cinema.
