Scania Appoints GMMCO as New Dealer Partner to Strengthen India Presence Across Northern, Eastern and Central Regions

Scania Commercial Vehicles India partners with GMMCO Ltd., part of the C.K. Birla Group, to expand its regional footprint across Northern, Eastern, and Central India, reinforcing customer reach and sustainable transport growth.

Bengaluru | October 31, 2025: Scania Commercial Vehicles India Pvt. Ltd. has announced a major milestone in its India growth strategy with the appointment of GMMCO Limited, part of the C.K. Birla Group, as its authorized dealer partner for Northern, Eastern, and Central India. This strategic collaboration is aimed at expanding Scania’s market presence, improving regional coverage, and enhancing customer service standards across the country.

Under the new structure, GMMCO will oversee sales, service, and aftersales operations across the designated territories, while PPS Motors will continue managing Scania’s operations in the Southern and Western regions. The move marks Scania’s transition from a direct sales model to a fully dealer-driven ecosystem, enabling quicker response times, improved accountability, and a stronger customer focus through localized expertise.
